Smoother skin on the back, chest, shoulders and neckline. Laser hair removal works on the hair at the follicle, so over a course of treatments it grows back finer and sparser.
We use the Candela GentleMax Pro, a medical-grade laser suited to every skin tone, with cooling in the handpiece so treatment stays comfortable. Coarse hair on the back and chest tends to respond well.
Every session is one-on-one in a private room, whether it’s your back or an intimate area.

Women most often treat the legs, underarms, bikini line and face. See the main laser hair removal page for those areas, pricing and FAQs.
Medical-grade laser and skin systems.
Every treatment follows a written protocol.
Our therapists are trained on the devices they operate.
Every treatment starts with a consultation, so you know what to expect before you book.
Almost anywhere. For men that's usually the back, shoulders, chest, stomach, neck and beard line, plus arms, hands and legs.
It's long-lasting rather than permanent. Most people see a lot less hair, finer and slower to grow back, and maintain that with an occasional session. How much reduction you get depends on your hair and skin.
It depends on your hair and the area. Most men have a course of six to eight, spaced a few weeks apart, because the laser only works on hair that's actively growing at the time. Coarse body hair often needs fewer sessions than fine. We'll plan yours at the consultation.
Most men describe it as a quick, warm flick, like a light rubber-band snap. The GentleMax Pro cools your skin as it works, which takes the edge off. Coarser areas like the back are usually easier than expected; bonier spots can sting a little more. If you want the detail, we wrote an honest answer for first-timers.
Usually just redness and mild swelling for a few hours, sometimes small bumps around the follicles. More noticeable reactions, like blistering or a temporary change in skin tone, are uncommon and more likely on skin that's tanned or recently sun-exposed. We lower that risk by patch testing first and checking your skin before every session.
Shave the area the day before or the morning of your appointment. If you can't reach the area yourself, a full back for instance, you can add in-clinic shaving to your booking. Don't wax, pluck or epilate for four weeks beforehand — the laser needs the hair root in place. Skip sun and fake tan for two weeks before, and come with the area clean, without deodorant, moisturiser or aftershave.
A little redness and some small bumps are normal for a few hours. Keep the area clean, and skip hot showers, saunas, swimming and the gym for a day or two. Use SPF on anything that will see sun. Over the next one to three weeks the treated hairs shed, which is them falling out rather than regrowth.
Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only affects hair that's in its active growth phase on the day. Only some of the hair in an area is in that phase at once, so sessions are spaced a few weeks apart to catch the rest over time.
Laser targets the pigment in the hair, so it works best where dark hair meets lighter skin. Very fair, grey or white hair has little pigment for the laser to find, so results are limited there. Skin tone matters too, and the GentleMax Pro is suited to a wide range of tones, including deeper skin. The consultation and patch test show whether it's worth doing for your hair and skin.
We get to know your skin and hair, do a patch test if you need one, and work out a plan with you: which areas, how many sessions and the cost.
As a guide, underarms or the lip take about 10 minutes, a chest around 25, and a full back or full legs about 40. The exact time depends on the area and how dense the hair is. Your first visit runs a bit longer because it includes the consultation.
No. A lot of men want less hair rather than none — we can thin an area out or clear it completely, and you can change your mind between sessions.
Yes. We shape the neckline and cheek line rather than the beard itself, and it helps to bring a photo of the line you want.
Many men find that as the hair reduces, they get fewer ingrown hairs and less irritation from shaving. Laser hair removal is a cosmetic treatment, not a treatment for a skin condition. If you have an ongoing skin concern in the area, check with your GP before booking.
